Brian E. Konzen concentrates on Employment Law, Municipal Law, Commercial Litigation, and Probate matters. Brian completed his undergraduate work at Notre Dame (B.A. 1981), including education abroad at St. Patrick’s College in Maynooth, Ireland. While at the University of St. Louis School of Law (J.D. 1984), Brian distinguished himself with the Kneip Award for Appellate Advocacy (1983) and also by authoring an article published in the St. Louis University Public Law Forum (Vol. 4, No.1, 1984). Brian is a former Assistant City Attorney (1987-2005) and current City Attorney (since 2005) for Granite City.
Brian maintains his ties to the community through service on the Governing Board of the Granite City Public Library (1987-1989) and as Attorney for the Six Mile Regional Library District since 1991. Brian is the current President of the Tri-City Bar Association, and a member of the Madison County Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
